Position Overview
The individual in this role will support platform development and portfolio programs through laboratory-based research activities and bioanalytical testing. Responsibilities include tissue processing, molecular and cellular assay execution, protocol development, and laboratory documentation.
Requirements
- Support platform development and portfolio programs.
- Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction.
- Perform MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses.
- Perform cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics.
- Establish SOPs and adapt new protocols from scientific literature.
- Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks.
- Independently execute experiments and analyze data.
- Collaborate productively with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or post-bachelor’s research environment.
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, or similar methods.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with animal tissue processing.
- Experience with ELISA or MSD assays.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.
