Position Overview
The individual in this role will support platform development and portfolio programs through laboratory-based research activities and bioanalytical testing. Responsibilities include tissue processing, molecular and cellular assay execution, protocol development, and laboratory documentation.
 
Requirements
  • Support platform development and portfolio programs.
  • Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction.
  • Perform MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses.
  • Perform cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics.
  • Establish SOPs and adapt new protocols from scientific literature.
  • Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • Independently execute experiments and analyze data.
  • Collaborate productively with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or post-bachelor’s research environment.
  • Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western Blot, or similar methods.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with animal tissue processing.
  • Experience with ELISA or MSD assays.
  • Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays.
