Summary
Our client, a biotechnology company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Research and Development Associate I. This position will support tissue delivery platform development and portfolio programs. The role involves hands-on laboratory work to process tissues, perform bioanalytical assays, and support assay development and optimization within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities of role
Support tissue-enhanced delivery platform development and related portfolio programs
Process animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction
Perform MSD and PCR-based bioanalytical assays
Conduct cell-based functional assays to characterize biotherapeutics
Establish and adapt SOPs and protocols based on literature
Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks
Mandatory requirements
Minimum of 1 year of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry or post-bachelor's research
Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, ddPCR, ELISA, Western blot
Ability to independently execute experiments and analyze data
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and matrixed teams
Nice to have
Prior experience with animal tissue processing
Prior experience with ELISA or MSD assays
Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
