Quality Control Technician 12-month Contract Onsite in Atlanta, GA Must be able to work on a W2
Overview We are seeking a Quality Control Technician to support a regulated medical device environment by performing product testing, documentation review, and quality system activities. This role helps ensure products meet established requirements and that manufacturing records are accurate, complete, and compliant. What You’ll Do
Perform product testing to support complaint investigations and stability verification
Compile and generate testing results reports
Review batch records / DHRs for completeness and accuracy; document and escalate deviations, ensuring issues are resolved prior to approval
Conduct spot-check inspections/audits of production activities
Participate in the internal audit program
Write, review, and approve SOPs as needed
Support document control / record retention and sample retention activities as assigned
Support returned instrument processing when needed:
Log returned instruments from the field
Decontaminate instruments in a Biohazard Level II environment per procedure and documentation requirements
Inspect for damage, document findings, and prepare items for next-step processing/shipment
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
1+ year of Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience in a medical device environment preferred
Working knowledge of GMP/GLP expectations and strong documentation practices
Comfort using common business software (spreadsheets, word processing, databases, internet tools)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Mix of sitting and standing; occasional walking
Work environment is typically quiet
Must be able to use bleach for cleaning purposes
Some duties may involve controlled-area work (including biohazard handling per SOP)
