QA Technician, Medical Device Manufacturing

 

Summary

Our client, a medical device organization, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Medical Device QA Technician. This position will support day-to-day Quality activities at the Alameda manufacturing site, including product and line checks, incoming inspection, documentation review, supplier qualification support and equipment qualification activities as needed.

This is a generalist, hands-on medical device Quality role supporting manufacturing cleanrooms and production lines. The individual will verify that product and manufacturing records are completed correctly and that incoming supplier parts meet requirements.

The role is onsite in Alameda, CA, with a standard full-time hourly schedule anticipated. The team may flex coverage between two production lines when time-sensitive needs or absences arise.

Duties / Expectations of Role

Perform in-process and production-line product checks in a medical device manufacturing environment.

Verify that manufacturing and inspection records are completed accurately.

Inspect incoming parts and components from suppliers.

Support supplier qualification activities and filing of quality documentation.

Assist with qualification of new equipment when needed.

Mandatory Requirements

Degree: Not specified by client in intake.

Experience: Junior-to-mid-level; less than 4 years of medical device manufacturing Quality experience may be appropriate.

Top skills: Medical device manufacturing QA; cleanroom and in-process/incoming inspection.

Software/tools: No specific software or tools identified in intake.

Nice to Have

Experience with supplier quality, document control, or equipment qualification.
