Requirements
- Execute bioanalytical quality assurance testing within Starlims and SAP systems.
- Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
- Complete quality testing per procedures and review data to determine conformance with specifications.
- Perform testing in a high-paced laboratory environment while maintaining multiple certifications.
- Experience with the following bioanalytical techniques is required:
- HPLC, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, Dot Blot, ELISA, Mass Spectrometry (MS), Microtiter plate methods
- Investigate standard testing out-of-tolerance and out-of-specification results, including complaints, and support CAPA activities.
- Support ticket trending processes and maintain quality records.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation and records.
- Participate in project and process improvement activities.
- Monitor testing process performance and implement process improvements.
- Support product development and improvement projects.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) are executed and laboratory operations run efficiently.
- Maintain and update relevant computer applications.
- Support manufacturing and testing operations while adhering to GMPs and GLPs.
- Participate in required training and reviews.
- Share quality knowledge and collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Ensure proper storage of samples and documentation.
- Participate in laboratory safety activities.
- Execute daily testing activities with minimal supervision.
- Identify and escalate potential non-conformances and issues to quality professionals and management.
- Support resolution of issues with guidance from quality professionals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on laboratory certifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a science-related or closely related discipline.
- 3–4 years of experience in a healthcare industry quality function.
- Experience with manufacturing and testing diagnostic products, methods, and applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with product and process improvements.
- Experience with stability testing and validations.
- Knowledge of technical troubleshooting and compliance practices.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits.
- Knowledge of performance metrics.
- Basic understanding of Quality Systems and associated key processes.
- Basic computer skills.
