Project Manager – Value Evidence Strategy

SUMMARY
Our client, a life sciences organization, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Project Manager III. This position will support operational execution of tactical plans related to Value Evidence Strategy (VES), focusing on tracking study and project timelines, KPIs, and stakeholder engagement.
 
DUTIES / EXPECTATIONS OF ROLE
  • Oversee operational execution of VES tactical plans, ensuring study and project timelines are met and KPIs tracked accurately.
  • Identify and escalate scope, timeline, or budget issues, implementing mitigation plans and applying lessons learned.
  • Support operational activities across Otsuka’s Value Evidence Sub Committees (VESCs), ensuring adherence to charters and improvement opportunities.
  • Provide project management support for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) studies, maintaining documentation within the ATLAS evidence management platform.
  • Proactively gather updates and implement changes to keep study data current and complete.
  • Drive implementation of VES frameworks, processes, and initiatives, including tracking milestones and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support change management activities for new processes and operating models through communications, training, and feedback collection.
  • Maintain visibility into project demand, capacity, and dependencies to support resource planning.
  • Assist with budget-related tasks, including accruals, invoicing, and finance communication.
  • Foster positive relationships with cross-functional and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and work collaboratively on related initiatives.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes and action logs, and support general operations such as data entry and tracking.
 
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, virtual collaboration platforms, and project management tools such as iEnvision or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage workflows with minimal supervision.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
 
NICE TO HAVE
  • MBA and/or PMP certification.
  • Previous management consulting experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HEOR.
  • Experience managing vendors for HEOR studies.
