SUMMARY
Our client, a medical device company, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide an Engineer, Engineering – Individual Contributor. This position will support product transfer projects, collaborating with stakeholders across Product Transfer, Operations, and Divisional teams.
DUTIES / EXPECTATIONS OF ROLE
- Provide engineering support for product transfers, ensuring activities are completed and documented per company procedures.
- Monitor and control project progress, applying engineering principles to maintain quality and timeline.
- Develop manufacturing documentation such as SOPs, DMRs, DHRs, PFMEA, and Process Control Plans.
- Conduct training for operators and sustaining engineers on production processes.
- Write and execute equipment, cleaning, and process validation protocols.
- Ensure process and product quality according to operation and material specifications.
- Investigate yield issues and implement manufacturing improvements.
- Comply with GMP and safety procedures.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working in team-based settings.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex manufacturing or design issues.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in an FDA-regulated or similarly regulated industry.
- Experience executing equipment and process validations.
