Clinical Research HCP Contracting Specialist
Location: Remote
Duration: 12-month contract
Overview
We are seeking a Contract Engagement Specialist to support Healthcare Professional (HCP), consultant, and external expert engagements across Research & Development and Clinical Research. This role coordinates contracting, engagement tracking, documentation, and payment support for activities including investigator meetings, Data and Safety Monitoring Boards (DSMBs), and adjudication committees.
The ideal candidate brings HCP contracting experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the full engagement lifecycle, including contract initiation, execution, amendments, payment support, and closeout.
Serve as a primary contact for HCPs and internal stakeholders, communicating requirements, status updates, and next steps.
Review engagement requests and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
Maintain contracts, engagement trackers, status reports, and documentation within designated systems.
Support invoice tracking, payment processing, reporting, and resolution of engagement-related inquiries.
Partner with Clinical Research, R&D, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and Finance to resolve issues and keep engagements on schedule.
Identify opportunities to improve and standardize contracting and engagement processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Demonstrated experience supporting HCP contracting and engagement management.
Preferred: 5–7 years of HCP contracting or related operational experience within clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare environments.
Ability to coordinate multiple contracts and stakeholder requests in a high-volume environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
