What You’ll Do:
Lead compound registration and data management, maintaining accurate and complete metadata for synthesized and sourced compounds.
Oversee inventory control, coordinate shipments, and ensure research materials are readily available for project needs across domestic and international sites.
Develop and refine standard operating procedures, uphold quality standards, and drive continuous-improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
Act as the primary liaison for CROs and vendors, managing external collaborations, shipments, and service delivery while resolving operational challenges.
Partner cross-functionally with chemists, biologists, DMPK, and other research teams to support project execution, training, and system enhancements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in compound management, pharmaceutical research operations, or a related scientific setting.
Hands-on experience with compound registration platforms and inventory databases such as BIOVIA Dotmatics, CDD Vault, or ChemAxon.
Strong knowledge of chemical structures, nomenclature, and laboratory safety protocols.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, database management, and some scripting experience (Python preferred).
Excellent organizational, detail-orientation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working with external CROs, vendors, or global supply chains.
Familiarity with automated compound storage and high-throughput screening support systems.
Knowledge of laboratory automation and data standards in a research setting.
