Overview
This contract role supports North America's Medical Affairs team by developing high-quality scientific and educational content targeted at payers, pharmacy benefit managers, IDNs, and government stakeholders. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, actionable, and compliant materials that highlight medical, clinical, and economic value. You’ll also analyze and report key activity metrics to help guide strategic decision-making and improve engagement effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain scientific content such as presentations, discussion guides, training resources, and evidence summaries for payer engagement
- Support payer discussions and advisory boards by synthesizing scientific insights related to product value, reimbursement, and market access strategies
- Develop and update product dossiers and economic models, including budget-impact analyses and value-based evaluation tools
- Draft and review medical-information responses for payer inquiries and committee requests
- Analyze operational data including customer interactions and activity metrics, creating reports and dashboards that inform leadership and drive improvement initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure all materials are scientifically accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives
Must-Have Qualifications
- Doctorate in a scientific field such as clinical, pharmacy, health economics, or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience supporting Medical Affairs, HEOR, market access, or similar functions in healthcare or life sciences
- Strong scientific writing, editing, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to analyze and communicate complex clinical and economic data effectively
- Experience working independently in a remote, collaborative environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with payer-facing documents, product dossiers, or value assessments
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, Veeva Vault, or CRM systems
- Background in diabetes, continuous glucose monitoring, or chronic disease management
