Market Research Program Manager 6 month contract Remote, EST hours Requirements
Lead the design and execution of primary and secondary market research initiatives to generate actionable business insights supporting pipeline, pre-launch, and marketed products.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into strategic research plans and recommendations.
Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research using innovative methodologies to support business decision-making.
Manage external research vendors, including project oversight, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
Analyze and integrate multiple data sources, including primary research and secondary data, to develop comprehensive insights and recommendations.
Utilize secondary data sources such as prescription data, patient-level data, sales data, payer data, claims data, and electronic medical record (EMR) data.
Work with third-party healthcare data providers, including IQVIA, Symphony Health, and similar data sources.
Support strategic and analytical projects that contribute to commercial planning and business performance.
Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Demonstrate strong analytical, project management, fiscal management, and decision-making skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline preferred (e.g., Public Health, Statistics, Management Science, Operations Research, Engineering, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field).
Minimum of 7 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
At least 1–2 years of experience in Data Analytics, Market Insights, Forecasting, Consulting, or a related function.
Experience conducting and applying both primary and secondary market research.
Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Experience working with healthcare datasets and commercial data sources.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to senior leadership.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within high-performing teams.
Adaptability and effectiveness in a dynamic business environment.
