IRT Project Manager
12-Month Contract
Remote – EST hours
SUMMARY
Our client, a life sciences organization, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide a Project Manager II. This position will support end-to-end Interactive Response Technology (IRT) activities for clinical projects, including managing study-specific timelines, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), monitoring system change requests, and assisting with stakeholder training and education.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the IRT Project Manager in executing IRT development from project kickoff to system go-live, ongoing system change control, maintenance, and closeout.
- Support UAT activities by coordinating stakeholder and CRO participation, drafting scenarios, and performing testing.
- Monitor vendor performance and relationships at the clinical study level, including root cause analysis and vendor issue escalation.
- Ensure system development processes align with quality assurance requirements.
- Track and analyze system change requests, identify corrective actions, and oversee their completion through the project lifecycle.
- Resolve data transfer issues between IRT vendors and internal/external systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation such as SOPs, job aids, and guidance documents.
- Support process improvement initiatives and stakeholder training, including development of training materials.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 3 years of IRT Project Management experience or IRT database design/development.
- B.A./B.S. in biology, life sciences, computer science, or a related field.
- Knowledge of database structures and tools used to manage extract report data.
- Working knowledge of clinical research and statistical concepts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to set goals, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with email, Windows applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database/spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to work effectively within multifunctional teams.
