Engineering Technician – Medical Device

12-month contract – convert to perm

Onsite in Fremont, CA

Responsibilities:

• Execute routine and non-routine laboratory tests that require fine motor skills, accurate hand-eye coordination, and careful handling of components and equipment.
• Test prototypes per engineering instructions and document test results.
• Develop proficiency in LIMS to ensure seamless electronic test management.
• Communicate assignment status to project engineers.
• Train others on new product processes and procedures.
• Ensure product is tested to the most current/validated method/process and specification and documentation is correctly completed per GLP & QS requirements as applicable.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/Associate’s Degree
• Previous experience in the medical device industry or manufacturing environement
