Electrical Engineer 12 month contract Must be able to work on a W2 Onsite in Portage, MI SUMMARY Our client, a company in the medical device industry, has engaged GForce Life Sciences to provide an Electrical Engineer. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and apparatus. It requires working independently with minimal supervision and applying professional expertise to various electrical systems. EXPECTATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement the design of electrical systems and devices, including electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, wiring, and power systems.
Install and maintain electrical apparatus for the generation, transmission, and control of electric power.
Use professional judgment and expertise to ensure compliance with procedures and technical standards.
Work independently, applying knowledge gained through education or extensive practical experience.
Apply understanding and application of engineering procedures and concepts within own discipline.
REQUIREMENTS
University degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical knowledge gained through experience.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, lighting, wiring, and power devices.
Ability to make judgments based on practice and previous experience.
No prior experience required, but the ability to apply technical knowledge independently is essential.
NICE TO HAVE
Relevant industry or project experience in electrical systems design or maintenance (preferred but not required).
Experience working on electrical systems related to power generation, transmission, or control.
