Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support analog and digital electronic circuits for medical device products.
- Create, review, and maintain engineering documentation in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Generate design documentation, engineering reports, test protocols, and design history file (DHF) documentation.
- Assist with circuit analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and validation activities.
- Perform circuit simulation using LTSpice or equivalent simulation tools.
- Create and modify schematics and support PCB layout using schematic capture and PCB design software.
- Conduct laboratory testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other standard electronic test equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and other Engineering disciplines.
- Support product improvements, sustaining engineering activities, and design changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant electrical engineering experience (internship or co-op experience considered).
- Knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
- Programming experience with C/C++ and Python.
- Experience using LTSpice or equivalent circuit simulation software.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout software.
- Proficiency with standard electronic laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
- Familiarity with engineering documentation, design controls, or quality systems.
