Description
The Data Analyst will be responsible for translating complex analytics into clear, actionable insights to support brand strategy and executive decision-making. This role will develop and maintain interactive dashboards, conduct ad-hoc analyses, monitor portfolio performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions. The Data Analyst will ensure data integrity across reporting tools, manage external analytics vendors, and apply creative problem-solving to uncover insights and address business needs.
Requirements
- Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.
- Develop data-driven narratives to support brand strategy and executive decisions.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to track brand and portfolio performance.
- Enhance visualizations based on evolving business needs.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to support new brand launches and optimize in-line brands.
- Monitor and analyze KPIs across a portfolio of assets.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
- Coordinate with external analytics vendors to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Partner with patient affordability, FRM, Payer, and SP operations teams to inform access strategy.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reports and tools.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive intelligence, and evolving analytical methodologies.
- 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical data science, brand analytics, or commercial analytics, with at least 2 years in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Life Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with patient access and reimbursement analytics preferred.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy data and related analytics required.
- Experience with SP data at claim or patient level, including claim data such as CoverMyMeds or IQVIA LAAD claim data.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical data sources, including IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo, claims data, and specialty pharmacy data.
- Proficiency with data visualization and analytics tools, including Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL, Python, or SAS.
- Strong communication, project management, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Experience in nephrology, rare disease, or specialty pharmacy distribution preferred.
