Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for drug substances and products
- Perform hands-on laboratory work using HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and titration techniques
- Troubleshoot method performance issues (e.g., resolution, sensitivity, reproducibility)
- Analyze and interpret data to support R&D and formulation teams
- Document experimental work, protocols, and results in accordance with GMP/GLP standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, or related field (no biochemistry-focused backgrounds)
- 6+ years of hands-on analytical lab experience
- Strong experience with method development (not just method execution)
- Proficiency with HPLC and/or GC required; experience with FTIR, UV-Vis, and titrations preferred
- Background in pharmaceutical industry preferred; medical device experience with pharma exposure also considered
- Small molecule experience
